ok Gav,you got it. Do NOT throw in the towel. Do not let other people control your life with their idea of "what's in" As long as YOU love your music thats all that matters. You know there are still plenty of fans for your genre out there but you have to be realistic. You probably will not see fame and fortune in this lifetime unless you allow yourself to be molded into the shape that the industry dictates. If you retain your integrity and stay true to who you are you will ultimately be happy in the end with what you do. You have to really examine your montives. I know from being married to a musician though how frustrating what you are going through is. I also know that to a musician, music is like air..you need it to live. You have to make music. You might as well do it your way.

Sounds pretty cool. I've always loved y'all's vocal delivery. Any way I can put in a vote without joining the community?

    Lightbulb

    Megadeth??

I noticed the large amount of Nue-Metal shit there.

Look at it this way, if THEY don't like you, then you must be doing something right.

<font size="3" face="Arial">Ya' know, that's true. Most of these peeps probably set their Tivo (did I spell that right?) to record TRL every day. Who cares what they think?

Thank you all for all of your nice words!!

What Donna said is very true!
That's always been the way I approached things Donna, and thanks for giving me a kick to the ass and reminding me! Feel a bit dumb now! I've always made music or played guitar as I felt it should be.
Guess I'm taking it all a bit hard cause it was such a daunting project. Writing the songs, learning how to sing, how to play bass, piano and drums and approach singing for the first time. Building and learning how to use a studio. Managing and promoting.
Doing everything in it all by myself, it was pretty exhausting.

Yeah Jay, I thought the same thing about the Megadeth comment. It's one of the heavier songs on the CD sure, but don't really understand the comparison.

Thanx to Lycan too! Don't often get praise for my vocals, as I've never been a singer before! Proud of my guitar playing, but I guess the vocals are distinctive I guess. Sounding even better on the covers EP (samples on website)

Thanx once again everybody, apologies for the foul mood in my plea! haha

the thing about garage band is you have to listen to the bands that review your stuff to see if there opion matters...usually it doesn't keep doing what you do man..
